About the Artist
Jarett Fajardo began his artistic endeavors imitating and mimicking his favorite comic books at a very young age. Over the years he took his love of illustrations and animated characters and transitioned his focus to realism and life subjects. Jarett is a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a major in Illustration and an emphasis on conceptual design for film. Under the tutelage of Pixar Art Director and Instructor Anthony Christov, he developed skills in pre-production art and fine art. His work as a storyboard/concept artist has helped him utilize his imagination developing characters and visualizing worlds that adapt to the needs of any story that may come his way. He is noted as a story artist, art director, and graphic artist for clothing lines, children’s books and comic book illustrations. Along with his vast body of work with major studios, he is best known for his images working along side the companies of famed Directors Francis Ford Coppola and Victor Salva of Zoetrope Studios. He continues to hone his talents on innovative projects challenging his creative limits. He is involved in the creation of high quality imagery with an eye on storytelling. Fajardo’s success is derived from a passion to give life to timeless characters and stories that will continue to inspire future generations of artists.
